A concert that invites conversation
The Italian Resistance provides the historical point of reference. At its heart are questions that reach beyond that period: How does authoritarian power emerge? What does resistance mean? What responsibility does each individual bear?
The animated film being created for the symphony adds a visual dimension to these questions. The combined performance is conceived with projection onto the back wall of the stage, complemented by the film’s sound design. An introduction or a post-concert discussion can open up further perspectives on music, film and history.

Film, stage & sound

- Projection: Projection onto the back wall of the stage, with a projection surface clearly visible to the audience.
- Sound: A sound system for the film’s sound design; the balance with the live orchestra will be established on site.
- Coordination: Projection size, playback format, audio channels and synchronisation of film and orchestra will be agreed with the artistic and technical teams.
- Rehearsals: Joint technical rehearsals must be scheduled to bring together the orchestra, film and sound design.
This overview is intended for initial production planning. A binding technical plan will be agreed as part of the specific collaboration.
